We're Here!

Thank you so much for your prayers, we arrived in Orlando safe and sound (and very, very tired) last night. We have a beautiful suite just like an apartment! There is a living room, dining area, separate bed room! When we unpacked we found a nice big "Orlando Style" roach waiting for us in the closet :) The boys are excited, now they have a new friend to play with!!

Hitting the Road :)

We just found out a few days ago, we are hitting the road! We are going to be traveling to Orlando for some child education seminars all of next week! These seminars are for parents of children who will get their education in a third world country! We are very excited to be around fellow believers, other missionaries, and other parents who have/and are schooling their children in other countries from all around the world! We are speaking in Lucasville Sunday morning, Springfield Sunday night, then driving through the night the 16 hours to reach Orlando by Monday! (flying was just not really in the budget right now:)! We would appreciate your prayers throughout the week. The boys are excited to hit all the Disney shops down that way, and thank you so much to the mamaw's and papaw's who so generously gave, so the boys would enjoy their last trip to Disney before heading to Uganda next summer! We love you!
God bless,

More Encouragement!

Remember me saying, "God always sends someone along to encourage us at just the right time"! Well, He did it again! The other day, I admit, I was feeling a little blue. Does anybody really pray for us, pray for the ministry, etc.. It was just a normal day, I took the boys to Drug Mart to rent them a video, like we do every week! We have gone there weekly for about 4 years, so I have gotten to know the cashiers and they are such nice ladies, they too have gotten to know the boys and that kind of thing. So a couple of months ago I gave one of the newer ladies one of our prayer cards. So when we were there the other day, me in my "blue mood" the newer cashier said "Hey! Your the missionary family I have been thinking about"! I said yes, were missionaries. She continued to tell me "yeah, to Uganda right"? She had actually went home, learned about Uganda, knew about Kampala, the needs those people have and everything. She even read about these 4 foot lily pads in Lake Victoria that the boys might enjoy! I could not believe it! She not only remembed, but cared enough to learn about the place we are so desperately seeking, and then to just go a little further, the other cashier standing there beside of her, walked to the side of the register, and pulled out the prayer card I had given her a month ago! They have kept it right there and think of us often! WOW! God is so good and His love never ceases to amaze me. I think God so much for the little relationships that we build everyday without even knowing it. It makes me want to continue to challenge my self and be even more of a light to every single person I come in contact with. Even when we are not watching, not really thinking about things, God is!

Homeland Ministry Assignment!

Please pray for our family as we continue on our homeland ministry assignment. We have such a large amount of money to raise before we can leave for Uganda! I know EVERYTHING is in our Lord's most perfect timing and is out of my control, however the earthly part of me sees the struggles and difficulties we must face to get where He wants us to be! We need to sell our home, three vehicles, etc.. etc... and continue to raise our funding. It seems when it gets to be the roughest the Lord always sends someone along to encourage us. We got a phone call Friday morning from another WGM missionary that is actually serving in Uganda right now! How encouraging and what a blessing that he took time from his busy schedule and family to give us a call! We have been so blessed with our speaking schedule. We are staying very, very busy on the weekends traveling to different churches who are gracious enough to have us in and they have all been so wonderful! The people that we have met along the way have been a true blessing to us and we would like to thank them all!
Most precious God, I pray your very words over the worries of our minds. You have promised to not let our hearts be troubled, if we will just cast our cares on you. Based on your words, I pray that all worry will flee from us and our joy will return to us two fold! In Jesus Holy name...Amen
You will keep us in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because we trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in yah, the Lord is everlasting strength. -Isaiah 26:3

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. - Philippians 4:6-7

I also want to thank God for our amazing boys! What little troopers we have! Sam is becoming more and more bold for the Lord. He is now helping pass out our prayer cards, setting the table up, etc... He has always been so shy and I found a scripture on being bold and having courage in God. This is exactly what he is doing! GO SAMMY! I love when God answers our simplest prayers, yet reveals them in the most mighty of ways! Little is much........

Update!

Alana called the other day to thank everyone for their prayers. The ultra sound went great and the doctors got all the pictures they needed of their healthy, beautiful baby girl! Praise the Lord!
