Happy Birthday Samuel

Wow! Our "little man" just turned 5 years old! I don't know where time goes! He had so much fun at his birthday party. He got a "Ho-Ho" suit for his birthday (the only thing he has been wanting for like a year now). We have to pry it off of him at night, he runs around the house all sweaty refusing to take it off! He is such an awesome little man,him and Zachary both. We are so blessed and praise God so much for all He has given.
God bless,
Josh and Angela

Settling in!

We are finally settling into our new home! We have just a few more things left to pick up at our old home. We love our new house, our new neighbors have already been such a blessing, helping us set up the washer and dryer, etc... The boys are loving it! There are a ton of squirrels around, and they have actually chewed through the power and cable lines out back, so the boys are now on "squirrel patrol" and having lots of fun! Thank you all for your prayers and have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Nothing but Foreigners!

Well, we are preparing to leave our house soon! We knew this day would come when we decided to become full time missionaries. I admit, at first, my heart was a little heavy. Josh and I have been married over 11 years now and this is the only home we have ever owned. This is the only home our boys have ever known. They have spongebob on their bedroom walls mommy and daddy spent 2 nights painting for them. However, God has opened my eyes so much to His will in our lives and as I write this tonight, I feel so blessed. Sometimes it hurts, we are sad, we cry, etc... but God is so mighty and loves us so very much. He know us by our name, he places every tear in His mighty hands. As I read in Luke 10, Jesus required much of his disciples! This "house" is not my home. America is not my home, Africa is not my home. When I gave my heart to Jesus, my home became Heaven. I am nothing but a foreigner here! God truely showed me that today. We are so blessed, no matter where we are my family is happy and blessed and together and I praise God for that. We have so much work to do for God, earth is only temporary, my real home was purchased long ago, it was paid in full, bought by the blood of the Lamb and one day we will have a wonderful homecoming! Until then we are looking for a rental home until next summer, when we leave for Uganda! The boys are having fun looking for potential houses. They are very quick to give us the thumbs up or down! Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to look for a rental and prepare to move before the holidays! Thank you all for your continued prayers!
God bless,
Josh and Angela

Home Again!

We are back home, (just in time to vote):) Thank you for your prayers. We had such a nice time in Orlando, and the boys did better than we did handling the 16 hour car ride! We went for the prefield education seminar on how to school our children in a third world country and got some great tips! But, it was such a blessing to be around other third world missionaries with young children, hear their testimonies, praises, prayer requests, etc... It's so awesome to see these young families give up everything for the Lord! Above are some pictures. We could not take the boys to Disney this time (they went last October), however, they had fun at Downtown Disney, which is absoutley free! Our hotel was beautiful, and so was the weather! It is so good to be home though! Please continue to pray as we try to build our speaking schedule back up around this busy holiday time! We are also preparing for our first ministry newsletter to go out, and preparing an email version of it! So, if you are interested in recieving or newsletter, please email us at joshbryant.wgm.org and remember, you do not have to be a financial partner to recieve them, they are free for the taking, and we pray they will be a blessing to you!
God Bless,
Josh and Angela

We're Here!

Thank you so much for your prayers, we arrived in Orlando safe and sound (and very, very tired) last night. We have a beautiful suite just like an apartment! There is a living room, dining area, separate bed room! When we unpacked we found a nice big "Orlando Style" roach waiting for us in the closet :) The boys are excited, now they have a new friend to play with!!
God Bless,
Josh and Angela

Hitting the Road :)

We just found out a few days ago, we are hitting the road! We are going to be traveling to Orlando for some child education seminars all of next week! These seminars are for parents of children who will get their education in a third world country! We are very excited to be around fellow believers, other missionaries, and other parents who have/and are schooling their children in other countries from all around the world! We are speaking in Lucasville Sunday morning, Springfield Sunday night, then driving through the night the 16 hours to reach Orlando by Monday! (flying was just not really in the budget right now:)! We would appreciate your prayers throughout the week. The boys are excited to hit all the Disney shops down that way, and thank you so much to the mamaw's and papaw's who so generously gave, so the boys would enjoy their last trip to Disney before heading to Uganda next summer! We love you!
God bless,
Josh and Angela

More Encouragement!

Remember me saying, "God always sends someone along to encourage us at just the right time"! Well, He did it again! The other day, I admit, I was feeling a little blue. Does anybody really pray for us, pray for the ministry, etc.. It was just a normal day, I took the boys to Drug Mart to rent them a video, like we do every week! We have gone there weekly for about 4 years, so I have gotten to know the cashiers and they are such nice ladies, they too have gotten to know the boys and that kind of thing. So a couple of months ago I gave one of the newer ladies one of our prayer cards. So when we were there the other day, me in my "blue mood" the newer cashier said "Hey! Your the missionary family I have been thinking about"! I said yes, were missionaries. She continued to tell me "yeah, to Uganda right"? She had actually went home, learned about Uganda, knew about Kampala, the needs those people have and everything. She even read about these 4 foot lily pads in Lake Victoria that the boys might enjoy! I could not believe it! She not only remembed, but cared enough to learn about the place we are so desperately seeking, and then to just go a little further, the other cashier standing there beside of her, walked to the side of the register, and pulled out the prayer card I had given her a month ago! They have kept it right there and think of us often! WOW! God is so good and His love never ceases to amaze me. I think God so much for the little relationships that we build everyday without even knowing it. It makes me want to continue to challenge my self and be even more of a light to every single person I come in contact with. Even when we are not watching, not really thinking about things, God is!
